"Heaven's Paws" was created in collaboration with the artist Andreas Lempkewho drew the picture.
The project is called "dog heaven" and originated in his head. He is a dog owner himself. He also generally draws a lot of pictures with dogs and then posts them online on social media such as Instagram.
As for the piece, I can say that I had a few good ideas before I started, but in the end I decided on this one because it reflected my emotional world and I was trying to create a hopeful mood. The cello plays a very central role in this piece, as it plays the main melody and is accompanied by the rest of the orchestra. The piano, on the other hand, acts as a kind of counter-voice. They complement each other in their own way and both have their own melody, but only together do they sound complete.
And so it is with the sadly deceased dogs who, thanks to Andreas, are gradually finding their place on this beautiful cover. Together with their masters and mistresses, they remain united forever, even after death.
